We are seeking a motivated and experienced LIHTC Regional Property Manager to oversee and manage a portfolio of affordable housing properties across the region.
Position Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in property management, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership or regional management role, preferably in affordable housing.
- Knowledge of affordable housing programs (e.g., LIHTC, Section 8, HUD) and compliance requirements is highly desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Property Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.
- Excellent financial acumen and experience managing property budgets and financial reports.
- Strong knowledge of property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple properties and priorities. Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and ensure compliance.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure a high level of performance across all properties within the portfolio.
- Develop strategies for improving revenue and reducing costs.
- Ensure that properties maintain a high level of resident satisfaction and retention.
- Ensure timely response to work orders, preventative maintenance, and capital improvements.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract and retain residents, focusing on affordable housing initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification from a recognized property management organization (e.g., CPM, CAM, or HCCP).
- Previous experience in managing a multi-state portfolio or large regional portfolios.
Salary:
Starting at $95K/yr DOE
