The Role

The Training & Support Specialist helps bring Ovation’s learning strategy to life through engaging onboarding, training facilitation, learner support, and on-site reinforcement. This hands-on role partners with Training, HR, Operations, and property leaders to ensure employees are prepared, supported, and confident in their roles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support new hire onboarding, both in-person and virtually, introducing employees to Ovation’s culture, systems, processes, and expectations.
  • Co-facilitate live, virtual, and e-learning training for leasing, operations, systems, customer service, and other functions.
  • Provide ongoing learner support by answering questions, clarifying processes, and reinforcing training and SOPs.
  • Travel to properties to provide on-site training reinforcement and operational support, identify learning gaps, and share feedback with Training and Operations.
  • Coordinate training logistics, including scheduling, invitations, materials, technology, rosters, and completion tracking.
  • Support new property transitions and third-party onboarding, including training preparation, Day 1 support, system readiness, documentation, and post-transition follow-up.
  • Assist with the rollout of new systems, tools, programs, and processes through training and change-management support.
  • Maintain and assist with updates to training materials, SOPs, job aids, FAQs, and LMS content.
  • Serve as an approachable culture ambassador and trusted resource for employees throughout their learning journey.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, Human Resources, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • 1–3 years of experience in multifamily property management, leasing, operations, training, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong presentation, facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable facilitating both in-person and virtual training.
  • Experience with an LMS such as Grace Hill, Easy LMS, or similar platforms preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Highly organized with strong follow-through and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable with moderate travel to properties for training and support.
